中华蜜蜂

中华蜜蜂（Apis cerana cerana）又称中蜂、土蜂，是中国独有蜜蜂品种，属于膜翅目、蜜蜂科、蜜蜂属昆虫，东方蜜蜂（Apis cerana Fabricius，1793）的一个亚种。在蜜蜂属中，中华蜜蜂的型体中等，头胸部黑色，腹部黄黑色，全身披黄褐色绒毛。

  在长期自然选择过程中，各地中华蜜蜂对当地的地理生态环境产生了极强的适应性，形成了特有的生物学特性，分为长白山中蜂、北方中蜂、华中中蜂、华南中蜂、海南中蜂、云贵高原中蜂、滇南中蜂、阿坝中蜂和西藏中蜂9个类型。

  中华蜜蜂具有利用零星蜜源植物、采集力强、利用率较高、采蜜期长及适应性、抗螨抗病能力强，消耗饲料少等意大利蜜蜂无法比拟的优点，非常适合中国山区饲养，并被列入农业部国家级畜禽遗传资源保护品种。

Apis cerana cerana, also known as Chinese honeybee and native honeybee, is a unique bee species in China. It is an insect, belonging to Hymenoptera, Apidae,and Apis. Apis cerana cerana is a subspecies of Apis cerana Fabricius (1793). In the Apis genus , Apis cerana cerana is of medium size, black in the head and chest, yellow-and- black in the abdomen, and covered with yellow-brown hairs in the whole body.

In the process of long-term natural selection, Apis cerana cerana has developed a strong adaptability to the local geographical environment, and has formed unique biological characteristics. They are divided into 9 types : Chinese Bee of Changbai Mountain ; Chinese Bee of Northern ; Chinese Bee of Central China ; Chinese Bee of South China ; Chinese Bee of Hainan ; Chinese Bee of Yun-Gui Plateau ; Chinese Bee of Southern Yunnan ;Chinese Bee of Aba ; Chinese Bee of Tibet.

The Apis cerana cerana has the advantages of using the sporadic nectar plants,strong collection ability, high utilization rate, long nectar collection period and adaptability, strong anti- mite and disease-resisting abilities, low consumption of feed and so on, which is unparalleled by Apis mellifera ligustica. It is very suitable for feeding in mountainous areas in China, and it has been included in the national livestock and poultry genetic resource protection variety of the Ministry of Agriculture.
